Location Presentation
The entire process for this video took 2 days from start to finish for planning, shooting, writing and editing.
The video shooting process
– on the day of shooting, I spent 1 hour arranging and moving furniture in the apartment. I spent 90 minutes taking still photography and video footage of the rooms I wanted to show.
– I recommend a filming time of two hours to allow for this kind of video shoot. Since I was filming a rooftop apt., changing natural light was a significant consideration. I recommend shooting videos like this before mid-day in Berlin, when natural light is best.
After filming/ Editing
I spent 1 hour selecting and editing still photos and video footage to create the 90 second image sequence.
Sound
Since live sound was not used, I spent 1 hour composing and editing a soundtrack from my pre-recorded audio file library.
Final editing
I spent 1 hour synchronizing the music soundtrack with the image sequence, writing the descriptive text and uploading the video.
